What Does a Sharpen & Service Include?

At the North East Sharpening CO we not only sharpen our scissors but we also fully service them, this is to ensure that your scissors are as sharp as they can be and work perfectly. A service includes;

 

-Take the scissors apart
 

-Clean them thoroughly
 

-Inspect the blades for any damage (some blades may be damaged beyond

repair, in which case we will give you a call)
 

-Replace any damaged parts i.e. finger inserts, bearing, tangs, tensioners or screws.
 

-Sharpening the blades to acquire a true cutting edge
 

-Polishing

 

-Balancing
 

-Adjusting the set 
 

-Testing the blades
